1.Tvam hyagné prathamo manotāsyā dhiyo abhavo dasm hotā,

Tvam seem vr’shannkr’ñordusŧarītu saho vishvasmai sahasé sahadhyai.

1. 1Only thou2 art the first inventor3 of this4, O Agni5, worker of marvels6, hast become our herald7.

Thou, showerer8/ bull9, hast made strength10 that troublesome to conquer11, strength12 that shall overcome all other prowess13.

1. This is the sixth Mandal/Book of R’gved.

R’shi: Bārhaspatý Bharadvāj.

Dévtā: Agni.

Chhand/Meter: Trishŧup.

The Mandal/Book contains 75 Sookts/hymns.

The first Sookt/hymn contains 13 Mantrs/Verses.

The westerners, and their blind Indian followers, say:

‘Vedic Sanskrit is an Old Indic language. It is the language of the Vedas, the oldest shruti texts of Hinduism, compiled over the period of the mid 2nd to mid 1st millennium BC. It is an archaic form of Sanskrit, an early descendant of Proto-Indo-Iranian. It is closely related to Avestan, the oldest preserved Iranian language.’

This erroneous view creates a confusion.

It does not support the traditional Indian view that the Ved is the everfirst source of knowledge.

Every ancient Indian literature, without even a single exception, claims it to be a fact.

This erroneous westerner view is entirely baseless.

It was devised only for the then British Government to help it to rule over Indians.

Unfortunately, the mental slavery to the British, is still continued in some of the English educated Indians.

They are not mentally free yet.

Moreover, they don’t want to be.

Their mental slavery, to the foreigners, has gone to the extent that they have lost even their faith in Indians.

They can’t believe now that any Indian can have/develop more wisdom than the foreigners.

They always try to dishonor such Indians who try/claim to outwit any foreigner.

They forget the fact that even Indians have received Nobel Prize for their supremacy.

They are perfect slaves yet they still want to rule/lead the Indians.

We can sympathize with the slaves, but only the slaves can accept their leadership.

They follow everything the westerners say blindly.

They have not investigated the facts themselves, and therefore, as such, they lose credit, at all, among the persons who follow the principles of  ‘Dhiyo yo nah prachodayaat‘ and ‘Yaathaatathyatah‘.

They want the others to believe that Indian Aary’s are not Indians originally.

They came from Iran.

The Iranian culture was such a strong culture that it won India gradually ultimately.

It is unfortunate for them that the subsequent developments and historical events don’t support this communal, wicked, and unjust theory.

Only the blind persons can believe that Persian culture, which proved to be so incapable that it could not protect its own homeland, was stronger than Hinduism ever, that is still immortal, and influencing the ultra modern thoughts and societies even.

The same Islam, which conquered Iran and converted the entire country successfully, tried to conquer India and Hinduism as well.

What could it achieve?

Only a nominal piece of land called Pakistan.

India is still India.

Hindus are still Hindus.

What does it prove?

The Persian Culture was better and stronger than Hinduism?

How?

Nonsense!

The more plausible and credible theory is, that this entire nonsense is only a frustrated anti Hindu propaganda, nothing else, not even worthy to be noticed gravely.

The Hindus must always remember the admonition from Ved/Eishan Param Brahm Paramatma:

‘Maa va’ sten eishat maaghshagvanso’.

2. ‘Tvam hī’.

‘hī’ means ‘only’ in Vedic Sanskr’t and Sanskr’t too.

None else.

3. prathamo manotā’.

R. T. H. Griffith has translated ‘manotā’ ‘inventor’.

While the translation is quite correct,  ‘manotā‘ in Vedic Sanskr’t means something more.

Aachary’ Sayan’ has written in his commentary, Vedaarth Prakash:

manotā‘ hi devaanaam mano yatr ootam sambaddham bhavati taadr’sho bhavasi.’

‘Where the mind of the divine ones is connected is called manotā‘.’

4. ‘Asyāh’.

Feminine gender in original text.

R. T. H. Griffith has interpreted it ‘Prayer’.

‘Only thouart the first inventorof this, O Agni’ Tvam hyagné prathamo manotāsyā dhiyo

‘dhiyah’ inVedic Sanskr’t, and in Sanskr’t too; does not mean ‘prayer’.

It means ‘wisdoms’.

‘dhiyah’ in Vedic Sanskr’t, and in Sanskr’t too; is in Feminine gender.

In Ved, generally ‘the women who hold something’ is also meant from ‘dhiyah’, if the context in which the word is used, does not contradict it.

The important point to be noted here is that ‘asyāh’ is in singular number, while ‘dhiyah’ is in plural.

What does it mean?

It means ‘every wisdom, every woman, taken individually‘.

Only thou art the inventor of this each wisdom, means, if you haven’t got light from Ved and daily meditation according to it, it was impossible for you, too, to invent it.

So, understand the importance of Ved, and of the daily meditation according to it.

It is not waste of time, as the fools think it is.
