 ¹Only thee, Agni², divine one³, free from obsessions⁴; always⁵, the divine ones with righteous indignation⁶; doubtlessly reached⁷. Doing it⁸ doubtlessly reached⁹.

They individually worship¹⁰ Immortal¹¹, among the mortals¹², the Proper Divine One,¹³ Genderless¹⁴. The Proper Divine One, Genderless, creates all¹⁵ impelling proper consciousness¹⁶. The Proper Divine One, Genderless, creates the one impelling proper consciousness¹⁷.

2. The divine ones with righteous indignation never reached any one else.

Even in their righteous indignation, they never forget to reach the person who has attained light himself, and leads the others to light.

Their indignation is righteous. They are never indignant for anything wrong or inhumane.

Only the persons who are indignant for anything wrong or inhumane, can reach any one else.

3. This Agni, must be divine himself, who is reached thus.

Lord Kr’shñhas explained this divinity as:

‘Abhayam sattvsamshuddhirgyānyogvyavsthitih,

Dānam damashch’ yagyashch’ svāhyāyastap ārjavm,

Ahinsā saty’krodhastyāgah shāntirapaishunam,

Dayā bhūtéshvaloluptvam mārdavam hrīrachāpalam

Téjah xamā dhr’tih shauchamadroho nātimānitā,

Bhavanti sampadam daivīmabhijātasý, Bhārat!’

‘Fearlessness, pure heartedness, established in the wisdom of discrimination of spirit and matter by the science of uniting the individual consciousness, charity, self restraint, performance of sacrifice, Stavan/Study of Ved and divine history, austerity, uprightness, non violence, truthfulness, non anger, absence of avarice, peace, gentleness, kindness, compassion to all beings, non greed, modesty, determination, radiance, forgiveness, fortitude, purity, freedom from malice, and absence of too much pride, become divine asset of the one who is born noble, O born in the clan of Bharat!’
