1. This is the eighth Mandal/Book of R’gved.
R’shi:1-2 Pragāth Ghaur/ Kāñv. The rest will be told with the corresponding Mantrs/Verses.
Dévtā: Indr, the controller of organ. 30-34 Āsang, proper companionship.
Chhand/Meter:1-4 Pragāth, Vishamā Br’htī, samāsato Br’htī, 5-32 Br’htī, 33-34 Trishŧup.
The Mandal/Book contains 103 Sookts/hymns.
The first Sookt/hymn contains 34 Mantrs/Verses.
It is not told here, specifically, that who is to be glorified if we want to.
Yet, never forget, Ved/Eīshān Param Brahm Parmātmā has told already, somewhere else:
‘Y’ ék it tamu sŧuhi kr’shŧīnām vicharshañih patirjagyé vr’shkratuh.’
‘Who is the Only One worship Him only Who is the Supervisor of the people. The laborious showerer/bull is born.’
‘The laborious showerer/bull is born.’ ‘jagyé vr’shkratuh’ has discarded even the Param Purush, the Absolute man, from worships.
The reason given here is that he is born.
Only Eīshān Param Brahm Parmātmā is NOT BORN ever.
So, this Mantr stops a follower of Ved from worshiping anyone else except Eīshān Param Brahm Parmātmā.
Thus, it is a very important Ved Mantr.
It stops a follower of Ved, even from glorifying someone else, than a person who controls his/her organs.
Controlling one’s own organs depicts the extent of his/her responsibility.
A follower of Ved should never praise the irresponsible and selfish persons, according to this Ved Mantr.
4. ‘Sakhāyah’.
You are friends of each other, as well as of Us.
You should never be against each other.
Never forget that you have joined a movement by joining the society of Sukr’ts/nobles.
You can’t betray the cause, by fighting mutually, and working or scheming against each other.
Leave it for the wicked ones.
Understand your responsibility and never forget it.
This is the movement you’ve joined with your own decision.
This is the only movement that is capable to serve and protect humanity endlessly.
