‘FEW SCIENTIFIC ERRORS IN HINDU SCRIPTURES
1.“He who fixed firm the earth that staggered, and set at rest the agitated mountains, who measured out the air’s wide middle region and gave the heaven support, he men is Indra.” Rig Ved: 2: 12: 2. We all know today that the earth revolves and rotates and is not fixed.’
http://www.topix.com/forum/religion/hindu/TTF…

The original text is:
‘Yah pr’thiveem vyathmaanaamadr’nhadyah
parvataan prakupitaan aramn’aat,
yo antarixam vimame vareeyo yo dyaamastabhnaat s’ janaas! indrah.’

‘Who strengthened frustrated earth, who played with the angry mountains, who made space especially worthy to be chosen, who consolidated celestials, people! he is indr/controller of organs.’
Ved: 1 R’gved: 2|12|2

“He who fixed firm the earth that staggered’ is wrong translation.
The original text is:
‘Yah pr’thiveem vyathmaanaamadr’nhat’
pr’thiveem vyathmaanaam’can’t be translated ‘the earth that staggered’
‘vyathmaanaam’ does not mean ‘staggered’.
It means ‘frustrated’.
It is clear from the text itself that the expression is figurative, used as a figure of speech, not in its literal meaning.

Similarly,‘adr’nhat’ cannot be translated ‘fixed firm’, it must be translated ‘strengthened’.
Your translation of the original text is profoundly wrong.
Erroneous translation leads you to erroneous conclusions.
Ved is not responsible for your erroneous translations.
Ved is not revealed in English.
It is revealed in Vedic Sanskr’t: http://en.wikipedia.o rg/wiki/Vedic_Sanskrit
http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/indexe.htm…

It is necessary, therefore, that a person must have PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE of Vedic Sanskr’t, the language, in which the Ved is revealed and still safeguarded, to understand Ved properly.

‘Maa phaleshu kadaachan’: ‘Never in results.’

Maa phaleshu kadaachan:

Never in results.

DSM Satyarthi

A shlok from Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta is very much in reference:
‘Karmanyevaadhikaaraste maa phaleshu kadaachan,
maa karmphlheturbhoormaa te sango’stvakarmani.’

‘Your right is in WORK ONLY, NEVER IN RESULTS.
Don’t be KARMPHALHETU. Don’t be obsessed in worklessness.’
Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta: 2/47

This shlok is very much referred to, even by the persons, who don’t believe in Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta or Hinduism.
It’s widely interpreted that it calls to blind work, not caring even the slightest, for the results.
If this interpretation is correct, this shlok negates the entire Hinduism.
Hinduism is based, ab initio, on INTELLECT, not on beliefs, like Abrahamic religions:
It’s moolmantr is:
‘Bhoorbhuvah svah! tatsaviturvarenyam
bhargo deasy’ dheemahi,
DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAT.’

‘(Vow:) The Existence! The Consciousness! The Bliss! We meditate on that Creator of all, worthy to be chosen, Pure, Divine, WHO GUIDE OUR WISDOMS.’
-Ved: 2 Yajurved: 36/3
‘DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAT.’
‘WHO GUIDE OUR WISDOMS.’
What do our wisdoms say?
Work blindly?
Don’t think ever to what your work will lead you?
Never.

Then why ”YAATHAATATHYATAH‘, ‘ACCORDING TO FACTS’?

S’ paryyagaachchhukramakaayamavra namasnaaviragvang shuddhamapaapviddham.
Kavirmaneeshee paribhooh svayambhooryaathaatathyato’art haanvyadadhaachchhaashvateebhy ah samaabhyah.’

‘He has been attained from everywhere–
Bright,Bodiless,Woundless,Sine wless, the Pure that evil hasn’t pierced.
Intelligent, Analyzer, Omnipresent, Self existent, has constituted aims, ACCORDING TO FACTS,unto everlasting subjects/ years.’

Ved 2Yajurved: 40|8

These two Mantrs:
‘DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAT.’
‘WHO GUIDE OUR WISDOMS.’
and,
‘YAATHAATATHYATAHACCORDING TO FACTS
do not support the interpretation, so widely is being fed to us.
Then what is the real interpretation of the said shlok of Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta?

Actually what did our Lord Kr’shn tell to Arjun here, so that ultimately he fought aggressively, and won Maha Bharat?

He said,’Arjun! We can’t change the result of any action.
It’s absolutely NOT CHANGEABLE.

To every action, a definite result has already been defined by Eishan Param Brahm Paramatma.
No one can change it.
Naabhuktam xeeyate karm, kalpkotishatairapi.’
Even after hundreds crores kalps, an action is not void, without its result.’

Lord Vishnu: Garud Puran

So, if you want a certain result, you have to do a certain work.
If you want justice, you have to fight.
You can choose your actions only, not results.
The results are already defined by Eishan Param Brahm Paramatma.
‘Your right is in WORK ONLY, NEVER IN RESULTS.’
‘Karmanyevaadhikaaraste maa phaleshu kadaachan.’

The mental slavery of the English-educated Indians

The mental slavery of the English-educated Indians

DSM Satyarthi

The westerners, and their blind Indian followers, say:

Vedic Sanskrit is an Old Indic language. It is the language of the Vedas, the oldest shruti texts of Hinduism, compiled over the period of the mid 2nd to mid 1st millennium BC. It is an archaic form of Sanskrit, an early descendant of Proto-Indo-Iranian. It is closely related to Avestan, the oldest preserved Iranian language.’

This erroneous view creates a confusion.

It does not support the traditional Indian view that the Ved is the everfirst source of knowledge.

Every ancient Indian literature, without even a single exception, claims it to be a fact.

Even Judaism, Christianity, and Islam support this basic view of  Hinduism.

They may differ in the view that particularly Ved is the everfirst book from God or not, but they all do agree that there was such a book  present, however.

Therefore, this erroneous westerner view is entirely baseless.

It was devised only for the then British Government to help it to rule over Indians.

Thomas Babington Macaulay, the unfortunate one who had to see the great Indian Revolution of 1857, before he died, actually causing his death and shattering his communal dreams, proposed it initially:

It is impossible for us, with our limited means, to attempt to educate the body of the people. We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern; a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect. To that class we may leave it to refine the vernacular dialects of the country, to enrich those dialects with terms of science borrowed from the Western nomenclature, and to render them by degrees fit vehicles for conveying knowledge to the great mass of the population.[5]

Unfortunately, the mental slavery to the British, is still continued in some of the English educated Indians.

Not only the so called Traditional Hindus are affected with this intoxicating disease, the Muslims are also not far behind.

They are not mentally free  even yet.

Moreover, they don’t want to be.

Their mental slavery, to the foreigners, has gone to the extent that they have lost even their faith in Indians.

They can’t believe now that any Indian can have/develop more wisdom than the foreigners.

They always try to dishonor such Indians who try/claim to outwit any foreigner.

They forget the fact that even Indians have received Nobel Prize for their supremacy.

They are perfect slaves yet they still want to rule/lead the Indians.

We can sympathize with the slaves, but only the slaves can accept their leadership.

They follow everything the westerners say blindly.

They have not investigated the facts themselves, and therefore, as such, they lose credit, at all, among the persons who follow the principles of  ‘Dhiyo yo nah prachodayaat‘ and ‘Yaathaatathyatah‘.

They want the others to believe that Indian Aary’s are not Indians originally.

They came from Iran.

The Iranian culture was such a strong culture that it won India gradually ultimately.

We can understand why British devised this nonsense.

They had their vested vile political interests.

The question is why the English Educated Idiot Indians still support it?

No reason except their mental slavery.

It is unfortunate for them that the subsequent developments and historical events don’t support this communal, wicked, and unjust theory.

Only the blind persons can believe that Persian culture, which proved to be so incapable that it could not protect its own homeland, was stronger than Hinduism ever, that is still immortal, and influencing the ultra modern thoughts and societies even.

The same Islam, which conquered Iran and converted the entire country successfully, tried to conquer India and Hinduism as well.

What could it achieve?

Only a nominal piece of land called Pakistan.

And even that is breaking into fragments like Bangla Desh that is more Hindu than Muslim in its thinking and ideology.

In fact it revolted against Pakistan, ab initio, to retain the values those are more Hindu rather than Muslim, that’s why India supported its revolution openly.

India is still India.

Hindus are still Hindus.

But Iran is not Persian now, as it was once.

Iran is an Islamic country now.

Most of the Persians are now converted Musalmīn.

What does it prove?

The Persian Culture was better and stronger than Hinduism?

How?

Nonsense!

The more plausible and credible theory is, that this entire nonsense is only a frustrated anti Hindu propaganda, nothing else; not even worthy to be noticed gravely.

The Hindus must always remember the admonition from Ved/Eishan Param Brahm Paramatma:

‘Maa va’ sten eishat maaghshagvanso’.
