Yes, I chose to marry a man from the kaafir community .: Sidrah
Sidrah is proud of marrying a Hindu.
Why?
She tells herself:
‘Brother, I understand the need for you to defend Islam, and I won’t argue with you there. I know how much it’s needed in this islamophobic world, so I do appreciate, in a way, what you’re doing.
However, what I couldn’t come to terms with was your calling me a kaafir, or comparing me with the Western woman or, above all, calling me a fornicator and adulterer. Did you ever pause to think how hurtful it is to have that allegation leveled against you? How would you react if I were to level the same charge against a woman from your own family? I’m sure it would hurt you as much as it did hurt me.
My only desire is for Muslim men to change their mentalities and lifestyles; in particular, their perception of women, and to start treating women as equals. It’s not to say that I want women to accept a Western way of living, for I do not, but freedom must be permitted, mainly the right to an education, the right to work, etc.
A few days back I came across news in the media of a woman in the Middle East that had her honor violated by a few men. However, rather than punish those men, the authorities chose to blame the woman instead, asking her why she had to go out with the men in the first place.
Such incidents are not uncommon in the Islamic community and, unfortunately, a majority of the Muslim men do carry similar perceptions and ways of thought.
Everywhere, the woman is always to blame.
Men can do anything and get away with it, but the moment a woman does something wrong, or something similar, or chooses to break out of the shackles and demand her rights, she’s the target of ridicule, scorn, and probably the worst kind of verbal or physical abuse. Just look at how many “honor killings” find prevalence in the Islamic community, that too over trivial matters.
Yes, I chose to marry a man from the kaafir community, and I still stand by my decision.
I wanted someone that could respect me as a woman and give me the freedom I desired and, seeing the state of the Muslim male, I knew I had to look elsewhere.
Whether you like it or not, I do take myself to be a believer and, as much as you’re proud to be Muslim, I’m proud to be Muslim as well. And nothing, by the Grace of Allah, is going to ever make me divert from my faith in Him. You can try to convince me otherwise, you can try to call me a kaafir however much you want, but I know I’m not, and that’s all that matters to me. I believe in the oneness of Allah, and It’s only Him that I worship.’

AAAA Jeddah, Saudi Arabia responded:
‘Sister, i m sorry if i hurt you. But let me tell you one thing if you don’t like the mu slims guys the way they are living in your community you have no rights to say bad about ISLAM, it hurts us, we belive in only two books QURAN & Hadith. about the marriage i will quote you something
“And do not marry Al-Mushrikaat (idolatresses) till they believe (worship Allaah Alone). And indeed a slave woman who believes is better than a (free) Mushrikah (idolatress), even though she pleases you. And give not (your daughters) in marriage to ;Mushrikoon till they believe (in Allaah Alone) and verily, a believing slave is better than a (free) Mushrik (idolater), even though he pleases you. Those (Al-Mushrikoon) invite you to the Fire, but Allaah invites (you) to Paradise and forgiveness by His Leave, and makes His Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to mankind that they may remember”
[al-Baqarah 2:221]‘
No doubt, this is an aayte Kareemh from Al Qur’an Al Kareem.
Even the slavery of the spouse is called here better.
A large number of Muslims believe in this way in this principle and suggest slavery to their spouses instead improving themselves.
I don’t think it the true concept of Islam.
I don’t think Islam came to release only men from slavery.
It came to free the entire womankind as well.
If my concept is true, the interpretation of AAAA of this aayate Kareemah is wrong.
I invite views from intelligent and sophisticated Muslimahs and Muslims.
AAAA said further:
‘—and tell you how media malign ISLAM in the mind of secularist muslims like you.
i will quote the below again for you read it with open mind.
Allah Almighty warns the Muslims:
“O you who believe, if a wicked evildoer comes to you with a news
report, look carefully into it to verify the truth, lest you harm a
people in ignorance and afterwards feel remorseful for what you have
done.”
(Quran, 49:6)
In the time of the Messenger of Allah, the infidels used to spread
lies and slander about the Messenger, and they would propagate false
news reports in order to create dissension and discord amongst the
ranks of the believers. Allah Almighty revealed the above verse so
that the Muslims would be cautious of such reports and so that they
would prevent the seeds of suspicion from entering into their hearts.
Today, the enemies of Islam continue their crusade against Islam,
with the Western media at the forefront of the ideological assault on
Islam. The Western media has consistently proven itself to be
deceitful, biased, and outright wicked; as such, whenever we Muslims
hear anything from them, then we should take it with a grain of salt.
I will continue about the girl who was punished.’

AAAA Jeddah, Saudi Arabia responded further:
‘Western society falsely claims to have uplifted women
Western talk of women’s liberalization is nothing but a disguised form of exploitation of her body, degradation of her soul, and deprivation of her honour.
Western society claims to have ‘uplifted’ women. On the contrary it has actually degraded them to the status of concubines, mistresses and society butterflies who are mere tools in the hands of pleasure seekers and sex marketeers, hidden behind the colourful screen of ‘art’ and ‘culture’.’

I said:
‘The trouble with you over enthusiastic ‘Believers'(?) is you yourself think you are omniscient.
How do you know I’m a disbeliever? How do you know what is there in my heart?
I’m not a disbeliever at all rather than being a true or false one.
Secondly, I have asked so many times what is your question about the Ved Mantr you quoted?
You just quote it and ask me to answer.
What is your question?
What is there you think objectionable?
Put you question and get the answer.
‘The Jews say that the Christians have nothing and the Christians say that the Jews have nothing of it, though both read the Scripture. And those who have no knowledge of the Scripture also make similar claims. Allah will surely give His judgment on the Day of Resurrection in all the matters in which they differ.’
—Al Qur’an Al Kareem 2 Al Baqarah 113
‘The fact is that no one has any special claim to Paradise; whoever surrenders himself to Allah in obedience and follows the Right Way, shall get his reward from his Lord: there shall be neither fear nor grief for such people.’
—Al Qur’an Al Kareem 2 Al Baqarah 112
‘wa la taAAsaw fil-arzi mufsideen’
Do not spread disorder on earth.
—Al Qur’an Al Majeed 2 Al Baqarah 60.
‘Whenever it is said to them, “Spread not disorder on the earth”, their reply is, “We only seek to put things aright”.
—Al Qur’an Al Kareem 2 Al Baqarah 11
‘Beware! They do spread disorder but they realize it not.’
—Al Qur’an Al Kareem 2 Al Baqarah: 12
