Ihaiv stam mā vi yaushŧam vishvamāyurvyashnutam,

Krīdantau putrairnaptr’bhirmodmānau své gr’hé.’

1. R’shikā: Sooryā Sāvitrī

Devtā: Sv’-vivāhah, Self marriage

Chhand/Meter: Trishŧup

2. Stam is used in original text.

In Vedic Sanskr’t / Sanskr’t, it’s used for two persons.

It’s Vivāh Sookt/ Marriage Sookt.

Therefore, it’s clear from the context itself that these two persons are the bride and the bridegroom.

Both must not be separated.

You both must live together henceforth.

3. Ih év in original text.

None of you both should leave ‘Gr’hasth Āshram’.

If you are not serious about married life, you should not marry.

It is not only a live in relationship.

None of you both can run away from the duties and responsibilities of married life henceforth.

It’s Not for irresponsible sex.

Never.

Hinduism/Ved never proposes irresponsibility in any matter/context.

That’s why it orders its followers:

Udyachchhadhvamap raxo hanāthémām nārīm sukr’té dadhāt.

Dhātā vipashchit patimasyai vivéd bhago rājā pur étu prajānan.’

‘Stand up/Raise ye. Smite away the demons. Set this woman for well doer. Inspired holder/guardian must know especially the husband for her. The well knowing politician come first/ahead for her genital organ.’

Ved 4A:14|1|59

4. Not only it is possible that someone may try to separate you both, it’s also possible that in your blind ignorance you both yourself get separated.

Your views or even your viewpoints may differ to the extent that you may hate each other’s company any more.

Whenever it happens, remember always that no two persons, till now, have ever been in the Multiverse, having identical views or viewpoints in any subject whatsoever.

Western culture, Islam , Christianity and Judaism advocate divorce in such cases instead of compromise.

Hinduism/Ved does not.

It proposes compromise instead of divorce.

The reason behind it is that sexual intercourse always does have a grave after-effect in the life of both the persons concerned.

While the male is affected only emotionally, the female partner is affected physically as well.

She can’t get a better sex partner for her after losing her virginity.

Whether one likes it or not, even emotions of both the partners are Not affected to the same extent.

You may call it backwardness, but the fact remains that a woman is always in submission in sex and a man is always aggressive.

Consequently, it affects a woman, even emotionally, as well as physically, far more than it affects a man.

Becoming submissive again and again to different persons develops a certain psychosis in women, to be submissive comparatively easily, in other matters too.

It mars her individual character and self confidence.
